The waste regulating device (20) has a clamping device with a rotary lever (8), an adjusting unit (10) and a resetting unit (12), where the adjusting unit reduces an air clearance, if it is too large in relation to the predetermined air clearance, and increases the air clearance, if it is too small in relation to the predetermined air clearance. A drive (9) of the adjusting unit and a drive (9') of the resetting unit are coupled together with the clamping device. An axial spring (15) is adjustable by disks, particularly diamond like carbon-disks. An independent claim is included for a disk brake with a synchronous unit.
