UNIT FOR TRANSPORTING AND CLEANING TUBEROUS ROOTS

A special feature of the applied unit for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots lies in the fact that the latter comprises inside of the central part of the space between belt conveyers two beaters, which are mounted at a distance one from another (are spaced). The beaters as driving hubs, on which long elastic blades of a rectangular shape are radially fixed with corresponding spaces. The ends of said blades are in the longitudinal-vertical plane with mutual overlapping, and the rotational planes of the blades are in parallel to the corresponding planes of the belt conveyers. The hubs of the beaters are connected with a frame with the aid of mechanisms of changing and fixing position thereof inside of the space between the conveyers, and rotational directions are forwarded meeting each other.
