In the method for determination of capillary and transport properties of liquid with “capillary method” (i.e. in two separate experiments for determination of surface tension from Jurgen formula and kinematical viscosity of liquid in Ubbeldoe viscosimeter) that is realized through experiments on measurement of time and parameters of liquid flow in cylindrical capillary, according to the invention only one joint experiment on suction of liquid to capillary in opposing the force of gravity is carried out, it involves two measurements (x, t) and (x, t) of displacement of the meniscus and the time from the beginning of the process (under condition t≠0), and the capillary constant a and kinematical viscosity v of liquid are determined from corresponding formulae. |
