<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for providing reduced size of the periphery of a paper cassette while providing the withdrawable paper cassette. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device body includes a guide rail 35 for withdrawing and moving the paper cassette 34. The paper cassette 34 includes a side wall 23 that is a face on the side of the guide rail 35, a guided part 33 that is provided at an outer face of the side wall 23 and guided by the guide rail 35, and an end part regulating member 26 provided in the inner part and regulating the rear end position of the paper. The side wall 23 includes an overhang zone 23A that is positioned adjacent to the end part regulating member 26, and a step-shaped retreated zone 23B that is positioned in the range excepting the overhang zone 23A. The guided part 33 is provided at an outer face of the retreated zone 23B that is positioned deeper than the overhang zone 23A in the side wall 23.
