<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security in an authentication system for performing authentication by optically reading an identification code displayed on an information display medium. <P>SOLUTION: The identification code to be displayed on a display part 11 of an ID card 10 to perform the authentication is calculated by logic peculiar to the ID card 10 and a coefficient corresponding to time when a S/W 12 of the ID card 10 is depressed, an authenticating identification code is calculated by logic peculiar to the ID card 10 and a coefficient corresponding to time when a S/W 24 of an authentication device 20 is depressed in the authentication device 20, too, and the authentication is performed by collating the authenticating identification code and the identification code displayed on the IC card 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
