<p>The tool (10) has an elongated recess (70) that is formed in an end region (42) of a core (40) coaxial with a longitudinal axis (A), for receiving an upper portion of a valve stem (4). The recess is extended into an end opening penetrated to a depth (T) greater than or equal to axial distance (D) between front end and an annular groove (16) of valve stem. The end region of the core for receiving upper portion of valve stem, is partially covered by annular groove, so that valve wedge (20) below annular groove is extended to an outer surface of valve stem. An independent claim is included for method for attaching valve wedge on control valve of internal combustion engine.</p> |
