Ternary magnesium, manganese (II) and cobalt (II) hydrogen phosphates trihydrates simultaneously contain magnesium, manganese (II), phosphorus, at that crystal lattice besides magnesium and manganese (II) additionally contains cobalt (II), whose quantitative ratio changes within, wt. %: magnesium – 14.53-1.38; manganese (II) – 1.82-17.14; cobalt (II) – 1.96-15.01; crystallize in orthorhombic syngony, space group Pbca with 8 formula units, base of crystal lattice is made of coordination polyhedra of three types Mg-O, Mn-Oand Co-Obeing in one crystallographic position, the coordination environment of cations in octahedra consists of three molecules of crystal water and three protonated phosphate tetrahedra, they are formed by interaction under 30- and pH 2.6-3.0 of mechanical mixture of magnesium, manganese (II) and cobalt (II) hydroxycarbonates with mole ratio of K=Mg/&Sgr;Mn, Co=18.0-0.25 and 50-87 % phosphate acid in the presence of 30 % solution of hydrogen peroxide in amount of 1:10 of content of manganese (II) and cobalt (II) in the composition of hydroxycarbonates. |
