The system has a wall arrangement (8) and an adjustable seat, where the wall arrangement for defining a luggage compartment (4) of a motor vehicle (2) to an inner space (6) of the motor vehicle has a wall section (22) and another elastically deformable wall section (24) made of stretchable material. The former wall section is rotatably mounted in a lower area of the wall arrangement over a hinge module (30).
