摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a method for measuring extrudates, which concurrently controls the width, gauge, cross sectional area, and the likes of the extrudates in order to produce desired extrudates when manufacturing tire extrudates such as a tread. The method for measuring extrudates pumps rubber materials which are put into a hopper (2) using a screw (4) which is operated by a DC motor (3) and measures the shape, size, and the likes of the extrudates (1) which are discharged through a die (5) while transferring to a take away conveyor (6). A measuring device (7) comprises upper and lower laser shape measuring machines (7a, 7b) which radiate with upper and lower side laser beam so that extrudates can be formed in desired three dimensional shapes and visually lighting the shape of the extrudates (1) and measures the width, gauge; and cross sectional area of the extrudates (1) and compares the width, gauge, and cross sectional area with a standard extrudate (1'); and controls and manages the speed of the take away conveyor (6) and RPM of the screw (4) through a control PC (9) and a PLC (8) based on information about the measured width, gauge, and cross sectional area of the extrudates (1) and produces uniform extrudates.</p>
