The filter cassette (1) has a guide (8) that is formed at edge of opening of raw gas side of dust collector for supporting the filter closure device. The filter closure device closes the opening of raw gas side of dust collector. The guide is provided with holding frame (81) at three sides of opening of raw gas side of dust collector, and an U-shaped profile (82) which is arranged at edge of opening and secured to holding frame. The side wall of filter cassette is made of plastic material (9). An independent claim is included for a method for removal of box-shaped filter cassette.
