The height-adjustable foot support (1) has a base housing (2), where one housing portion is provided as a receiving housing (3) for a drive device (5). Another and third housing portions are provided as a covering housing (4) for adjusting motor (7) and a threaded shaft (6). The three housing portions cooperate with each other such that the foot support is designed in self-supporting structure form. The self-supporting structure is ensured by a U-shaped configuration of the base housing, which serves as a support by receiving and guiding two guide shafts (10) and by guiding the threaded shaft.
