Pharmaceutical composition or impregnating agent comprises a microbiocidally effective plant extract, and a carrier agent by which one of the plant extracts is formed on a surface of a carrier layer, where the plant extract comprises at least one extract of a plant of family Brassicaceae. Independent claims are included for: (1) preparing the pharmaceutical composition or the impregnating agent, comprising mixing the microbiocidally effective plant extract from the plant of the family of Brassicaceae with the carrier agent, by which one of the plant extracts is formed on the surface of the carrier layer; and (2) use of an agent for the impregnation of textile or texturized fabrics or of medical, cosmetic or sanitary equipment and instruments.
