The present invention relates to a pouch type secondary battery and a manufacturing method thereof. The present invention includes: a first sealing step for compressing the sealing areas of a top pouch and a bottom pouch through a first sealing frame with a temperature higher than room temperature; and a second sealing step for compressing the sealing areas of the top pouch and the bottom pouch through a second sealing frame of a lower temperature than the temperature of the first sealing frame.
