An encoded TIM information communication method capable of reducing power consumption by reducing unnecessary decoding process is disclosed. The encoded TIM information communication method comprises a step of receiving the encoded TIM from an access point; a step of extracting a page index from the encoded TIM; and a step of extracting block bitmap information indicating the inclusion of the bitmap for the blocks which belong to the page determined by the page index; and a step of extracting the block bitmap information. Therefore, the power consumption of a low power terminal is able to be reduced by reducing the number of unnecessary decoding processes for each DTIM beacon.
