The present invention relates to a secondary battery capable of enhancing work efficiency during a manufacturing process by forming a grip recess in an insulation member and/or a coupling terminal. The secondary battery comprises: an electrode assembly including a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a separator positioned between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate; a first collector plate and a second collector plate electrically connected to the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate; a case for accommodating the electrode assembly, the first collector plate and the second collector plate; a cap plate for sealing the case; a first electrode terminal and a second electrode terminal electrically connected to the first collector plate and the second collector plate and passing through the cap plate; a first coupling terminal spaced apart from the cap plate and electrically connected to the first electrode terminal; and a first upper insulation member arranged between the cap plate and the first coupling terminal and having first grip recesses at both sides in the longitudinal direction.
