The present invention relates to an optical pickup device. The optical pickup device according to the present invention aligns the optical axis and adopts a thin plate in which the thickness of the center part through which a laser beam penetrates is less than 0.3 mm. A transmission type B/D optical system is disposed around the plate and a reflection type CD/DVD optical system is disposed around the plate. An incident angle of a light source on the B/D optical system is disposed at 35-55°for the track direction of a disc. Thus, manufacturing costs can be significantly reduced while maintaining or improving performance, as compared to a conventional optical system using cubic. |
