The present invention relates to a mobile terminal having an auxiliary screen which facilitates the control of the auxiliary screen capable of enlarging a main screen without installing a separate touch screen using the main screen. The mobile terminal having an auxiliary screen capable of enlarging a main screen and displaying a separate screen according to the present invention comprises: the main screen which is installed in a main body and includes a touch panel; the auxiliary screen which is separately controlled from the main screen; an auxiliary screen selection unit which switches the control between the main screen and the auxiliary screen; and a control unit which detects the location of an object on the main screen, adjusts the ratio of the screen at a given ratio, and calculates the location on the auxiliary screen if the control of the auxiliary screen is selected according to a signal of the auxiliary screen selection unit. According to the present invention, the main screen and the auxiliary screen can be controlled on the main screen without installing a separate touch panel on the auxiliary screen. |
