In a horizontal blind, numerous levels of slats (3, 4) are supported on a plurality of rudder cords (2), a plurality of raising/lowering cords (11-13) are suspended both in front of and behind the slats (3, 4), the slats (3, 4) can be turned via the rudder cords (2) by operating an operating device, and the raising/lowering cords (11-13) can be raised or lowered to raise or lower the slats (3, 4). The horizontal blind comprises: single-notch levels (seventh level and lower) in which raising/lowering cords (11-13) are inserted between wefts (6a, 6b) of the rudder cords (2), and notched parts (3a) are provided only to the rear edges of slats (3) adjacent to the raising/lowering cords (11-13); and double-notch levels (from the highest level to the fifth level) in which raising/lowering cords (11-13) are not inserted between the wefts (6a, 6b), and notched parts (4a, 4b) are provided to the front edges and rear edges of the slats (4). |
