The present invention relates to a device for changing functions of a button according to rotation of electronic goods with respect to a screen of the electronic goods or a user's gripping position of the electronic goods. Provided is a device for changing functions of the button comprising an external button, a sensor, a memory and a processor for executing a program stored at the memory, wherein the program includes commands for identifying the rotation of the screen of the electronic goods, estimating a user identification model with respect to the rotated screen, and changing the functions of the external button by using the estimated user identification model.
