The device has a rotary disk (1) that is established in a central console, where the rotary disk is positioned under a wrist-rest (2). The disk is put in rotation around its axis by biasing with finger tips of a hand resting on the wrist-rest. A tactile zone (2a) is integrated on an upper surface of the wrist-rest, where the tactile zone allows controlling of certain functions of a vehicle i.e. car. The tactile zone is inactive when the hand partially masks the zone and is active when the end of a finger of the hand is in the vicinity or in contact with the zone. The tactile zone is of resistive or capacitive type.
