The objective of the present invention is to provide a culture medium which has a space therein by mixing a ceramified mixture prepared by mixing red clay, charcoal, elvan, zeolite, and jade and plasticizing at high temperature, thereby allowing air to flow smoothly and emits a large amount of far-infrared ray. Therefore the culture medium promotes the growth of Lentinus edodes and prevents pest. The culture medium for Lentinus edodes of the present invention is produced by firstly mixing sawdust, cottonseed blood, wheat bran, plaster powder, and sugar, mixing and plasticizing red clay, charcoal, barley stone, zeolite, and jade, and mixing the plasticized mixture.
