594426 Disclosed is a membrane pump head (1) for a homogenizer or a high-pressure pump that allows improved seal service life and higher pump pressures. The membrane pump head comprises at least one pump head enclosed in a pump housing (2). The membrane pump head also includes a product chamber (3) with inlet (see 20, figure 3) and outlet (see 7, figure 3) for the product, as well as a hydraulic chamber (4) in which a piston (9) is disposed to operate. The product chamber and the hydraulic chamber are separated by a double membrane (5). The double membrane is oriented at an angle of 15-75º in relation to the longitudinal direction of the piston. |
