The rear wheel-axle has a single transverse flexible blade (30) including a central portion fixed to a body of a car vehicle by fasteners (32), and receiving a wheel hub carrier (6) at each end by a hinge. Each hub carrier is vertically guided by a telescopic shock absorber (12), where guidance of rear wheels around a vertical axis is assured by the flexible blade having a significant width at the hub-carrier, so as to allow articulation of guidance about the vertical axis. The blade includes a central cavity on each side, where the cavity extends towards the interior of the car.
