Device for extracting un-evacuated stems by headers during harvesting of corn cobs using corn pickers, has bands rotated in opposite direction using hydraulic motors to move stems in direction opposite to progress direction

The device has gripping bands (1) provided with flexible fingers for each header. The fingers are adapted to maintain stems and placed on a movable axis (4). The bands are placed on a sliding bar (5) so as to regulate spacing of the bands. The bands are rotated in opposite direction using hydraulic motors (2), where the rotation of the bands allows the stems to move in a direction opposite to a progress direction. Evacuation rollers (3) provided with reliefs (7) are placed in back of the bands to recover and evacuate the stems by separating corn cobs, which fall into the header.
