The airbag (1) has a lower part (5) and an upper part (3) assembled on one another and comprising an internal support (15). The internal support is arranged to constrain the airbag along transverse direction to thickness direction. The internal support comprises a side end (17), where the side end is assembled at the lower part and/or upper part in an assembly area that is located at a periphery of the parts. The internal support is formed of two support elements (19a, 19b), where each support elements comprises a side junction (21) assembled on a side junction of the other support element. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a safety airbag. |
