The method involves executing an application in a terminal e.g. Smartphone (MOB), and transmitting a signal to an access network through a gateway at a predetermined instant. An access of the terminal to the access network is authorized as a function of behavior of the access network with respect to the signal, where the behavior of the access network includes a response corresponding to a transmitted request. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program comprising instructions for implementing a method for managing an access of a terminal to an access network (2) a terminal comprising a connection unit to an access network for accessing to an Internet network (3) a gateway comprising an interface unit for interfacing communication networks.
