The device has a detector (3) for detecting presence of intrusion, and for transmitting a signal to a control unit (10) for causing activation of analysis and reporting modules. The activation of the analysis and reporting modules includes taking an image by a camera (7), providing an alert message on traffic signals (4, 5), and flashing an LED light (6), where the control unit is accessed via a centralized technical management unit (2). The control unit includes a timer unit, a transceiver, a scheduler, a telecommunications unit, a storage unit, and a network switch. An independent claim is also included for a method for detection, analysis, and reporting unwanted intrusion of a living being in a predetermined length of a portion of a traffic lane.
