The present invention relates to a concrete crack gage using a mobile terminal and a control method thereof. The concrete crack gage related to an embodiment of the present invention includes the mobile terminal (100) and a fixing device (200). The mobile terminal comprises: an interface (170) connected to and fixed at the upper side of the fixing device; a camera for if the lower side of the fixing device is in contact with a first region which is at least a part of the ground surface including the crack, capturing at least one image on the first region; a controller (180) for extracting first information on the width of the crack included in the first region by using the captured image; and a display (151) for displaying the first information according to the control of the controller.
