The invention makes it possible to carry out towing processes for ground movements of aircraft of various types more efficiently. For this purpose, a coupling device was invented for coupling to a landing gear of an aircraft. The coupling device comprises a first landing gear adapter (60A), which is designed for coupling to a landing gear of an aircraft of a first type. A second landing gear adapter (60B, . . . , 60F) is provided, which is designed for coupling to a landing gear of an aircraft of a second type. The second type is different from the first type. A change device (30) is coupled to the first and second landing gear adapters (60A, 60B) and designed such that optionally the first (60A) or the second landing gear adapter (60B, . . . , 60F) can be positioned in an operating position, or location (61) of the coupling device, suitable for coupling to the landing gear. Preferably a plurality of second landing gear adapters (60B, . . . , 60F) are provided, which are moved into the respective operating position thereof in a pivoting manner. |
