Abstract A ring protector (12) comprising a resilient annular (12) member having an inner surface (14) located adjacent the finger and an outer surface (16) 5 located remote from the finger in use. The annular member (12) includes curved end surfaces (18) joining adjacent ends of the inner and outer surfaces (14 and 16). The outer surface (16) of the annular member (12) is convex and extends across the full width of the annular member (12) from a first side (17) to a second side (19) thereof and the inner surface (14) is convex in shape 10 such that an annular chamber is defined between the inner surface (14) and the finger in which a ring (22) can be received.
