The disk carrier ring gear has front sided projections (20), which are spaced apart in the circumferential direction and engaged to the receiving groove, such that the connector is positively or force-fittingly connected with the disk carrier ring gear. The receiving groove is carried out without interruption. The disk carrier ring gear is closed annular and is fixed in the circumferential direction throughout the connector. An independent claim is included for a method for fixing a disk carrier ring gear to a connector.
