Provided is a light-emitting device including: a light-emitting structure including a first conduction-type semiconductor layer, a second conduction-type semiconductor layer, and an activation layer between the first conduction-type semiconductor layer and the second conduction-type semiconductor layer; a first electrode in touch with Ga-face of the first conduction-type semiconductor layer; and a second electrode in touch with Ga-face of the second conduction-type semiconductor layer, wherein the second electrode is exposed at a channel region on the edge of the light-emitting structure.
