The method involves exchanging information between two vehicles (FE, F1, F2) by using a car-to-car (C2C)-communication system (K) to handle driving behavior of the vehicles. Current driving information is transmitted from the first vehicle to the second vehicle of the two vehicles, so that intentional handling of the first vehicle adapts handling of the second vehicle. Receipt of the information over the intentional handling of the first vehicle is acknowledged by using the C2C-communication to the first vehicle, where the receipt comprises current position information of the second vehicle. The information is environment sensor data, driver condition data, driver intent data, vehicle status data and status data of assistance systems and safety systems.
