PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous composition for film formation, quickly dryable despite being aqueous, good in liquid storage stability for a long period, and capable of forming tough film.SOLUTION: An aqueous composition for film formation includes: a polymeric component having at least one functional group selected from hydroxy and carboxy groups; a metal chelate curing agent; a ketone; and water. In this composition, it is preferable that the polymeric component is polyvinyl alcohol; the metal chelate curing agent is a titanium chelate curing agent; and the ketone is acetyl acetone. |
