PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handheld multichannel pipette which allows adjustment of nozzle spacing, and maintains even spacing when nozzles are adjusted between a fully retracted configuration and a fully expanded configuration.SOLUTION: A handheld multichannel pipette includes: multiple fluid-handling nozzles; and a rotary adjustment mechanism for adjusting the width of a pattern of nozzles while maintaining even spacing between pairs of nozzles. Embodiments of the adjustable-spacing multichannel pipette include an adjustable stop mechanism. |
