PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for interpreting Chinese from the beginning of a sentence and automatically translating it.SOLUTION: Chinese is divided from the beginning for every word, the word is converted into Japanese using a dictionary, when a plurality of candidates are present, a part of speech of the word is identified from a structure of the sentence, and a translation word fitted thereto is selected. Even when a Chinese sentence is literally translated in translation work, the inversion of the word order of a part, the word order of which is different from Japanese, can be avoided by using "corresponding adverbs (adverb phrases)" that are prepared beforehand. The translation obtained by this method is slightly redundant, however, can produce a significant rough draft as Japanese. The redundant rough translation sentence can be converted into normal Japanese by performing shortening process. |
