PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid pressure braking device with high durability which, while achieving size reduction and cost reduction, capable of obtaining a large braking force.SOLUTION: A first and a second brake lever 3, 4 are provided which are supported rockingly by a base 7 through spindles 5 and 6. An operating mechanism 21 is provided which is fixed to the base 7 so as to be located between force point parts 3c and 4c of the both levers 3 and 4. The operating mechanism 21 includes a first piston 28 connected with the first brake lever 3, a second piston 29 connected with the second brake lever 4, a cylinder body 27 in which these are fitted, a braking spring 30, and an air pressure chamber 32. Each lever 3 and 4 is connected movably with the end (a thrust plate 26 and a stopper plate 44) of each piston through sliding contact in a rocking direction of the levers 3 and 4. |
