PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent hand-reaped stalks from being charged while a reel and a cutting blade are kept driven and to prevent a reel/cutting blade clutch from being turned off while the reel and the cutting blade are kept driven.SOLUTION: A reel/cutting blade clutch 18 for turning on and off the transmission of power to a reel 12 and a cutting blade 11 of a reaping unit 2 in the transmission of power to the reaping unit 2 is provided. To make a charged operation condition in which hand-reaped stalks are charged to the reaping unit 2 for threshing as the reel/cutting blade clutch 18 is turned off and a reaping clutch 17 and a threshing clutch 16 are turned on with a combine harvester stopped, a control unit 45 has a charging control means which controls to turn the reaping clutch 17 on according to a predetermined switch operation even while the combine harvester is stopped. The charging control means controls to turn the reaping clutch 17 on according to a predetermined switch operation only when the combine harvester is stopped and when the real/cutting blade clutch 18 is off.
