PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic polyether production method capable of stably controlling a polymerization degree.SOLUTION: An aromatic polyether production method comprises condensation-reacting a prescribed divalent phenol compound with a prescribed dihalogenated biphenyl compound in the presence of a base and a reaction solvent. The condensation reaction is performed under the condition of a molar ratio of base/divalent phenol compound of 1.015 to 1.035. |
