Method and device for providing a multicast service are disclosed. A method for providing a multicast service according to the present invention includes: a step of configuring an error control policy which is applied to multicast data for a multicast service based on at least one of resource monitoring information of a transmitting terminal and service quality requirement information received from a plurality of receiving terminals; a step of transmitting multicast data to which the error control policy is applied to the plurality of receiving terminals; and a step of receiving feedback information for the muticast data from each of the plurality of receiving terminals and reconfiguring an error control policy based on at least one among the feedback information and resource monitoring information.
