PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism to correctly inspect a printed image even if printing is performed by using a white sheet, a colored sheet except for white and a specified sheet on which an object is previously printed.SOLUTION: An inspection device includes: first storage means for storing image data of a specified sheet except for a white sheet; second storage means for storing printed image data generated in accordance with a printing job; reading means for reading an image printed on the white sheet or the specified sheet by a printer; generation means for generating synthesized image data from the image data of the specified sheet and the printed image data; third storage means for storing the synthesized image data or the printed image data; and inspection means for comparing the synthesized image data or the printed image data stored in the third storage means with reading image data which is read from the white sheet or the specified sheet by the reading means and inspecting the printed image. |
