PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a conventional technology in, for example, operation according to the electric power consumption of the whole building in which an elevator is provided.SOLUTION: An elevator control device acquires information regarding the electric power consumption of a building in which an elevator is provided. The elevator control device can implement the control of the switching operation of the elevator from normal operation to power peak suppression operation when the electric power consumption of the building exceeds a power peak determination value set in advance. The elevator control device moves up and down a car of the elevator in the normal operation. The elevator control device moves up and down the car by suppressing the electric power consumption compared to the normal operation in the power peak suppression operation. |
