PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recombinant yeast transferred with a gene encoding a specific protein so as to cause the presence of the specific protein on cell surface layer; and to provide a method for efficiently recovering tungsten utilizing the recombinant yeast.SOLUTION: Tungsten is efficiently recovered utilizing recombinant microorganisms expressing Pyrococcus furiosus-derived WtpA gene on cell surfaces.
