PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize an effect of baseband channel coding on an analog signal of a sideband transmission system while applying a baseband channel coding technique to a 1-bit quantized signal representing the analog signal of the sideband transmission system.SOLUTION: A signal conversion device 70 includes a converter 25 for outputting a 1-bit quantized signal representing an analog signal of a sideband transmission system, and a coding section 71 for executing a baseband channel coding process on the 1-bit quantized signal. The baseband channel coding process is a process of frequency conversion on the analog signal and is also a baseband channel coding process of coding the 1-bit quantized signal such that two types of bit values are different in the frequency of occurrence. |
