PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility and a method for preventing putrefaction of a dead body capable of preventing putrefaction of the tissue inside the dead body without deteriorating the appearance of the dead body for a period of several days or longer.SOLUTION: A facility used for preventing putrefaction of a dead body includes: a dead body heating means 10 for electromagnetically heating the dead body by an electromagnetic wave having a prescribed frequency to raise a tissue temperature up to a coagulation temperature or higher of proteins constituting the tissue inside the dead body, and for keeping the tissue temperature at the coagulation temperature or higher of the proteins; a dead body cooling means 20 for cooling the dead body electromagnetically heated by the dead body heating means 10; and a sterilization means 30 for sterilizing the surface of the dead body; wherein the sterilization means 30 includes a sterilization tank 31 for storing the dead body, and a disinfectant supply means 40 for supplying ozone and misty waterdrops into the sterilization tank. |
