PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption required for humidification and dehumidification by controlling air volume supplied from an air conditioning system to the required minimum amount.SOLUTION: The outside air cooling system for a data center includes: a mixing room for receiving outside air; and a server room separated into a cold aisle and a hot aisle. An IT device, such as server, is installed between both aisles. An outside air introduction fan for receiving the outside air, and a passage and an air conditioning fan for circulating the air in each space are provided, to receive the outside air into a room for cooling. A differential pressure sensor for detecting a differential pressure between the inside and the outside of the room is provided in the mixing room, cold aisle and hot aisle, to control the rotational speed of the outside air introduction fan and the air conditioning fan so as to reduce the differential pressure between the measured spaces and the outside air to a predetermined value. |
