The method involves detecting multitude of locations assigned to a mobile terminal e.g. a vehicle. A measurement value of each location is determined based on an estimated value for each location of service. A comparison of estimated value is performed with the measurement value of each location by using a central unit. The quality of location-based service is evaluated based on the comparison result.
