<p>The invention relates to a garment and particularly a garment of a type for use in environments where the same represent a contamination hazard. The garments may particularly be worn as an outer garment, to protect the clothing of the wearer from potential damage and also to prevent items of the wearer's clothing from being exposed. The garment can include an open weave sheet material which can be used to form a base, and typically fastening means. The garment also includes metal particles in at least a portion thereof if the garment is to be rendered metal detectable and/or an x-ray detectable material, such as barium, thereby selectively rendering the garment detectable by metal and/or x-ray detection apparatus.</p> |
