<p>The present invention relates to a driving apparatus for acquiring rotating force using a foot. Conventional driving apparatuses have structural problems in which the length of a crank arm is limited and thus the rate of converting the pushing force of a foot into rotating force is lowered when the pedal is located at a high point or a low point as compared with a highly efficient intermediate point. As compared to conventional driving apparatuses in which just one left crank arm and one right crank arm are arranged, the driving apparatus of the present invention is configured such that two bendable arms are arranged such that in each case second arms with pedals, which are the left and right bendable arms (5a, 5b), are maintained constantly parallel with each other at a predetermined angle while moving in every direction, that is, while performing 360° circular motion. Thus, the driving apparatus of the present invention enables the actual effective length between the pedal and a crankshaft to be lengthened when acquiring advancing propulsive force, and also enables the internal angle between the pedal and the crankshaft to be less than the conventional 180°, thus improving the advancing propulsive force. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a bicycle driving apparatus in which the length of each of two double bendable arms can be selected and adjusted by a user, as compared to conventional elliptical driving sprockets which are fixed on a driving shaft at a predetermined angle. Thus, the bicycle driving apparatus of the present invention enables users to adjust the angle of the sprocket according to the body condition of each user by means of a sprocket angle adjusting plate (12) which can adjust the angle formed by the longer axis of an elliptical sprocket and left and right crank arms (4a, 4b).</p> |
