PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration wave motor which achieves improved performance and uses a wider ranges of piezoelectric materials.SOLUTION: A vibration wave motor 1 of this invention includes: an electromechanical conversion element 11 to which a driving signal is input; an elastic body 12 that is joined to the electromechanical conversion element 11 and generates the vibration wave on a driving surface 12a in response to the driving signal; a signal supply part 14 which supplies the driving signal to the electromechanical conversion element 11 and is joined to a part of the electromechanical conversion element 11; and a relative movement member 20 having a sliding surface which is placed in pressure contact with the driving surface 12a of the elastic body 12 and driven by the vibration wave. The signal supply part 14 is joined to the electromechanical conversion element 11 by a conductive adhesive material which is cured at a room temperature. |
